About this ebook

Poetry is personal and intimate. These poems are meant to capture moments in life. Life is messy and some of these poems are very messy. They express fear, grief, love, frustration, as well as a variety of other emotions. The third book of poems is all about life.

Life shifts and changes. To stop changing is to stop living. This volume of poems uses a variety of techniques from abstract poems which are meant to express feelings through the sounds of the words rather than the meaning of the words to Acrostic poems which use the first letter of each line (and sometimes the last) to spell something to haiku and tanka to free form. The different methods are used randomly as the moment struck.

Eileen Troemel

From poetry to novel, I enjoy telling a good story or expressing a heartfelt emotion. I've been published in Circle Magazine, The American Tarot Association's Quarterly Journal, What's Cooking America, Children, Churches and Daddies, 2012 Daily Flash, and The Deadman’s Tome. I have a bachelor's degree in business and English Professional Writing and Book Editing. On the side, I have a small editing business. In addition to my work, I love to read, crochet, crafting, research genealogy, and spend time with family. I have three adult daughters and have been married to my husband for over 30 years. I’m the proud grandma of three fur babies – my daughters’ cats.
