In today's economic climate, no one is safe from financial difficulty. It is evident that this is more true for small businesses today than it ever has been. Even the most successful businesses struggle with their cash flow from time to time; it is something you simply can't avoid. However there are measures you can take to make your life easier and help you through those times of shortfall.
It can come as a complete shock. You think you're making a good profit and you can happily mark your business as a success! However your bottom line means nothing as far as cash is concerned. You may one day receive a rude awakening, reporting large profits only to find out that the bank is in the red. Maybe it's already in the red, maybe that's why you purchased this eBook. Either way today is the best time to start repairing or predetermining your cash flow.
Cash is the lifeblood of your business and without it, it would surely wither and die. But if you're turning a profit, how can it be that you're short on money?
I think of every business simply as a kind of machine for the owner to put money in one end and hopefully more money will come out of the other. There are many internal parts that play their role along the way, but essentially that's all a profit
