About this ebook

Over the last three and a half decades, using energy to heal (a modality that has been around for millions of years) fell in and then out of mainstream popularity.

With the increase of modern medical procedures there has been an increase of chronically ill patients looking for more than a medical regiment. What they found was a flood of alternative healers, each with their own method and set of techniques that could make them feel better, but not necessarily heal them.

Energy healing derives from a spiritual connection, which is why energy healing techniques don’t work. Self healing is possible, but you have to go beyond the techniques and into yourself to actually heal.

    Preface

Healing with energy is nothing new; it was documented in China over three million years ago. That would make it the oldest form of medicine out there. What people generally think of as modern medicine has only been around about two hundred years. And most of the things that people take for granted in today’s modern medical community like MRIs, routine CT scans, same-day-surgery centers, mini emergency centers, dissolvable sutures, injectables, and the literally thousands of different types of prescription medicines, are all less than thirty years old.

Energy healing has consistently been practiced throughout history, but wasn’t in the mainstream Western population until the 1970s. During this period there were a lot of hallucinogenic drugs and hippy groups that became associated with healing, so it never built a strong foundation within the general population. In the late 1980s personal therapy became not only socially acceptable, but also encouraged by the educated, working populace. As personal therapy became a popular modality, healing with energy made its way back into the mainstream through the format
