You may have a list of self improvement ideas, but a big list sounds like a lot of work, which is something often avoided, so the first step toward making a positive change is to narrow down the list by focusing on one thing at a time.
The next step is to create a new habit of thought by maintaining a simple daily routine to exercise your ability to choose. You are not bound by any rules that require you to keep current habits you don’t want, so feel free to change.
Thoughts that affect your perception of who you are and your abilities are often left unsupervised, but deliberate choices can improve your self-esteem.
Why are mental habits so important to your progress? Because the way you think about yourself will have a direct impact on most aspects of your life including, confidence, success, happiness, motivation, and even relationships.
To create a new habit of thought, it only takes about 30 seconds to stop and clear your mind of competing thoughts, and then choose to infuse words that describe your self-improvement goals.
