About this ebook

This forty-day devotional holds benefits for all, exhorting and inspiring Christians in their daily walk with Christ. Readers and writers alike will be challenged to see popular movies, books, and television shows from a different viewpoint.

Christians doubt and question: Can Christian literature even be defined? Is it possible to make a difference in the world? What does it mean to be professional? Can secular work ever reflect God? And why, if a Christian is truly called to a work, is it often a struggle to polish it enough to shine God’s light?

Sprinkled liberally with photographs and meaningful quotes, this short booklet will inspire all Christians to rise and let the Son shine!

Sheila Hollinghead

I was raised an Army brat and lived many places, settling in south Alabama thirty years ago. I taught middle school science for nineteen years, and I'm now retired at the age of 58. Retirement has enabled me to pursue my dream of becoming a writer. My husband is a poultry farmer. We have two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and a blessing of grandkids. I like to think of myself as eclectic. But, then again, I'm probably just ADD with a little OCD thrown in for good measure!

Sheila wrote an entertaining and informative book. She brought to mind a wealth of things to consider when feeling compelled to write. Also her using a scripture reference to head each point was inspiring. While I have only on rare occasion had a nudge to write a book, her words of wisdom and encouragement in this book help to wonder if it may be in my future.
