    A. Coconut Oil Appetizers

    Meal 1: Almond Chocolaty Balls

    Introduction:

    These almond chocolaty balls with almond butter have slightly creamy texture but these are still a little crunch because of the brown rice cereal. The addition of mini chocolate chips will offer you a nice little surprise.

    Preparation time: 10 minutes

    Cooking time: 0 minutes

    Serves: 22 persons

    Ingredients:

    1/2 cup of coconut flakes, unsweetened and shredded

    1/2 cup of rolled oats

    1/2 cup of brown rice cereal

    1/4 cup of hemp seeds

    1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips

    2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey

    2 tablespoons of coconut oil

    1/2 cup of almond butter

    1/4 cup of ground flax seed

    3 tablespoons of water

    Salt, to taste

    Procedure for Almond and Oats Balls

    1. First of all, in a small bowl, add and combine the ground flax seed with water; set it aside.

    2. Then, in a large bowl, add and combine the shredded coconut with coconut oil.

    3. Next, add all the left over ingredients to the large bowl and mix them altogether.

    4. Scoop out about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the mixture with the help of a large spoon and roll to form a ball. Repeat the same until all the mixture finished into balls.

    5. Now, place the balls on a parchment paper large plate and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

    6. Remove and serve or store for future use up to 1 week.

    Meal 2: Baked Spinach & Feta Pita

    Introduction:

    This is great to serve as a full meal or party appetizer. This recipe is quick to make and is delicious to eat, so enjoy this tasty and full of flavor coconut oiled appetizer.

    Cooking time: 12 minutes

    Serves: 6 persons

    Ingredients:

    6 ounce of tomato pesto, sun-dried

    6 whole-wheat pita breads, (about 6 inches)

    2 tomatoes, chopped

    1 bunch of spinach, rinsed and chopped

    4 fresh mushrooms, sliced

    1/2 cup of crumbled feta cheese
