      This book was written after I went through a major loss to my home. Life as I and my family knew it had changed and I unknowingly began an undertaking that would test me and my family and ultimately make us stronger as we worked to rebuild our home to pre-loss condition.

      Since you are reading this book, I assume you or someone close to you has recently experienced a loss. Home insurance policies help replace items that can be replaced. It is my sincerest hope that your loss was material only in which items can be replaced.
