    Q  Can we indulge in outside food once in a while?

    A  Once in a while, should not be everyday. If a person has taken to Yoga, that must be good enough reason to not eat outside food.

    Q  Does food help in creating balance?

    A  Naturally, Satvic kind of food creates balance.

    Q  I eat several times a day. (what should be done? )

    A  There has to be a law in chaos also.

    HJ Discipline is required in food also, even if you eat every now and then.

    Q  How much sleep is required?

    A  In a city like this (Mumbai) at least 7/8 hours.

    Q  I get tired while doing Asanas?

    A  One should start with Asanas which do not get us tired. (For example) Shavasana, Nispanadabhava. Once need not do Asanas which get us tired.

    Q  Why does the heart beat faster when one is nervous?

    A  This is an arrangement of the body. The nervous system gets the message and the reaction is given.

    Q  How long should one do Asanas?

    A  Asanas, are one part. Asanas, pranayama, kriyas, relaxation, concentration- If these are to be done one should give 1 hour.

    Q  Sometimes the mind is not steady. Should we still do asanas?

    A  Yes, to form a habit is good. But check progress and otherwise, do Talasana, Utkatasana to maintain
