    For each person, it is defined of what he is going to die and when he will die.

    We understand the material life in three conditions: present, past, and future. Life, which is defined by such a situation, is always limited. No matter what you do, it is limited. You are not masters in that situation. One, who has past, present and future, is by all means sentenced to die as long as he has these three conditions in himself – the sentence is passed. No matter when, no matter who one is, he will still be executed. Someone will be executed after a few days or weeks. Somebody else – after months or years. Everybody will be executed one day. The sentences will surely come. We talk about the physical world, the physical life. Now you cry – the sentence is implemented on a child of yours or on a daughter of yours, or on your husband. It is implemented on somebody and you are not satisfied. Finally, you will be claimed guilty. You do not know who sentences you and who executes you. You do not know if there is an external judge. Sometimes there is a special court. One is sentenced and caught. He is sentenced like a criminal and put in prison. Some people are not judged at all and they are immediately executed.

    Even if they give you 1000 years for living, you yourself would wish to leave Earth. It will become quite workaday for you. You would wish to go to other worlds. Earth is only one result. The world of feelings is a more beautiful place, but the world of thinking is even more beautiful. And once you have gone through these three lives, you will still want to come to Earth. In a world, you will live as long as it is needed for your development. Sometimes you will be expelled from Earth by somebody to go home. They will return you as a bride, who is turned back to her father. They will return you in the way a father sends his child to school. It has begun to play, and the father takes a stick and the child runs away. When it comes home, he gives it a good lesson.

      The Sentence

      What is happiness? Contemporary people are pleased that they are not in prison and that they are not under death sentence. We are happy for being alive, but internally, for each of us, there is a sentence passed: it will not take long and after 4–5–6–7–8–9–10 years, death will come. Your turn will also come some day: Sentenced to death under an article for a crime. You ask, Why did that person die? He was punished for a crime. There is a law. When Jesus came on Earth, He was also punished for people’s sins, because He instigated people. When they had to give, He said, Do not give, I will pay, you are to pay nothing. He destroyed an order and as a result of that, He was sentenced.

      You have a person, Who has come and expects something, and unexpectedly He comes upon something else. It is clear that it is unexpected from His sufferings. He comes with bright thoughts and ideals. He expects that people will accept His teaching, however, He comes upon the greatest disappointments, with which one may meet in his life. And it is not an ordinary person, but One, Who is called God’s Son. He found Himself abandoned by everybody.

      People will tire you in the same way. Your children will tire you. Your beloved will tire you. Your students will tire you. You have to be aware of that! Jesus had a disciple, who betrayed Him. However, he betrayed Him cheaply. The Jewish priests promised him, If you give Him to us, you will become a King of the Jews. You will become famous., and when he betrayed Him, they said, You have betrayed a traitor, who wanted to destroy the Jewish nation. A grand idea was in front of Judas. When he betrayed Him, he realized his mistake that his deed had no value. By betraying his Master, Love was taken away from his heart and he felt the entire senselessness of life and hang himself.

      And with all that disappointment, people always go along the same road and everybody always expects to achieve their desires, a bright idea of theirs. Do not forget that such an end expects you all. You say, Do not speak to me about that. It is for Jesus. It will be otherwise for us. It will always be the same. It is not possible the same thing not to happen to you. Nobody will laugh at you when you are crucified, and they laughed at Jesus when He was crucified. He stayed for three days in the tomb. When you enter into the ground, you will be like a hero. They will tread on you. No matter how much you pray, they will not take you out from the ground.

      I say: as for the external side of the absolute life, it can be considered as a common, complex organism, composed of countless number of wheels. Each person, as an individual, forms a part of this organism. While he is in this organism and rotates together with all wheels, he considers himself to be something important. However, if one of the teeth of the wheel breaks, he understands that the power is not in him and begins to wonder what to do. I say: one of the teeth of the wheels has broken. What shall I do? You wait until a great master comes to repair the broken tooth. He can fix it or take it out, throw it out and put a healthy one instead of it. You will say, How is it possible me to be taken out? Yes, one may be taken out as a tooth of a wheel, as well as a wheel, to be melted and put back into another organism. The form that can be given to you depends on the Great Master. You should know that you are masters neither of your form nor of your lives. You are still under the guardianship of the Great Law. You say: We are free. No, first of all you are free neither of the lice, nor of the fleas and mosquitoes. You have just sat down somewhere and you already feel that something has stung you.

      They convict you, bury you, because your wife has come to reign. A man dies, why? It is because the woman reigns. A woman dies, because the man reigns. When somebody comes to reign, the other one will surely die.

      I say: we should believe that God created Heavens and Earth. It should be born in us the bright idea that in this hard life, through which we are now passing, there is one way out. In no system you will find your salvation. You cannot avoid the bad consequences of life no matter to which church you belong, no matter what political ideas you have, no matter who you are - English, American, Russian, or German. You are sentenced to death. You say, Let’s live for a while ... Do not delude with one life, in which you will be hung after you have eaten enough. Do not consider this to be life. I'd prefer to be hung hungry. If I have to die, I prefer to die hungry.

      You are sent to school for 120 years. You have 120 years for studying. One does not want to go to school at the age of 10 years, as well as at the age of 20, 30, 50, or 60, and finally at the age of 70, they become very sad and arrest him. I say: that is why you shall often send letters to your relatives. Tell them how you study, what kind of help you want. Now you want to be happy on Earth. It is another matter. Sometimes I see ant-hills in the field and when the plow passes through them for several times, the anthill is gone.

      That rhomb is the human. That circle is the Earth, your land, warmed by the Sun. This is your world, where you intend to write great things, to write a composition, to be glorified as a musician or a poet, or as a reformer, a preacher, a bishop. You think of so many things! There are so many things in the world! All things are good, but what will you do after becoming a bishop? You will bless people without giving blessing to them. After becoming a king, you will rule people without arranging things for them. If you become a general, you will conquer without a victory. You will only have the illusion that you have achieved a victory. Then you will be also conquered as a general or as a bishop. So, where is your victory?

      I ask: after 120 years, you, young people, where will you be? You say: We will die. It is stupid to die! There is no more stupid thing than dying. Expecting to die is like the one, who is sentenced to death somewhere waiting to be hung. What does hanging show? It shows that this man has come down from the tree before he has died. When they hang him, they say: You had to stay on the Divine tree, ripen so that to have something in the world.

      Now you take the physical hanging. You, when you stop thinking, you are already hung. When you stop feeling, you are already hung. When you stop working, you are already hung.

      There are people, who do not hang. There are people, whom you cannot hang.

      You say, Let's live for a while on Earth. After you have lived for a while on Earth and leave away, what will happen after that living? What expects you? Imagine that a blade of grass asks me what its purpose on Earth is. I would say to it: to grow lush and exuberant, because you will be grazed by a sheep and your life will become a part of its life. And then what? Then, the sheep, in which you live, will be eaten by humans and you will begin to live in a human. Then what? Then the ground will eat the human and you will again start living in the ground. This is the future of the grass, but what will it understand from that?

      You often hear people saying, Let’s become stronger! Let’s arrange our works! Everyone starts with one of the most difficult tasks. If you want to arrange your works, go to the happy city - the city of the happy people, where people go to study. One of these people was unsatisfied, so he went to a priest and told him, Father Priest, I am not satisfied with my life. What would you advise me? The priest said, When you see someone, who have died, go to his eternal home, greet him and go back. After applying the advice of the priest for a few years, he went back to him and said, Father Priest, I understood this. It was very hard.

      You want to become a king, but I want no prisons, no gallows, and no courts in your kingdom. Everything shall happen well.
