About this ebook

Hunter grinned but didn’t seem as happy as the guy next to me. More like, he knew crap was about to fall.
“He can’t play when someone’s watching him,” Justin almost sang into my ear. “Totally screws up then.”
“But you all are watching him,” I pointed out.
At the back of the room, someone laughed. “Yeah, but we’re not girls.”

Ryan Hunter's parties are legend. And tonight she's going to be there.

Lisa Matthews anticipates the return of her best friend and only love since kindergarten from soccer camp. But when Tony finally shows up, his mind is more focused on another girl. And worse, she's a soccer player. Fighting for the attention Lisa craves, she's just a hairbreadth away from making a very stupid decision. But when extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures, she's prepared to play ball to get her man.

The tryouts are hell, the first match ends bloody, and the morning after the selection party she wakes up in the worst place possible—in the arms of the captain of the soccer team. The hottest guy in school. Ryan Hunter.

Good quick story. Lisa has always been best friends with Anthony since the days after diapers, and some where along the way fell in love with him. Unfortunately those feelings weren't quite mutual, at least in the way she hoped. Typical, I love you, but I'm not in love with you.
Things take turn their Junior year when Anthony starts dating a rather rude girl, Chloe. When Lisa finds out and is completely heart broke he asks his buddy, Ryan captain of the Soccer team and hottest guy in school, to "distract" Lisa so she cheers up and gets over him. Little does he know Ryan has been completely infatuated with Lisa for the better part of high school and has only been waiting for this moment to finally have a chance and make his move.
Unfortunately for Ryan he is kind of known as a man whore so when Chloe dumps Anthony like he told him she would. Anthony realizes he messed up, and isn't okay with anyone else being with Lisa even if he has plans of doing so himself, it doesn't take much to sabotage Ryan's progress with Lisa. What Anthony realizes a little to late is that in doing so he not only broke Lisa's heart via himself and now Ryan, but their friend ship as well.

Good story, obviously written by a none American author as some phrases and terms seemed lost in translation. Brings you back to that high school first love/ heart break, for sure.

This is one of those books that you start and it's written so well that you can't get up and walk away from until you're done. I can't even tell you the amount of times I lost track of time absorbed in the story and the characters.

It's a light, fast paced read with characters that just make your heart melt. Well they do when they're not making you laugh at loud anyway.

Such a great read. Definitely a book I would recommend.

In other news, Tony...you sir are a total ass. LOL.
