      PREFACE

      This book is geared FIRST and foremost to the homeless, helpless and disenfranchised. However, it is also for business professionals, entrepreneurs and especially for Spiritual people and lovers of Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is for everyone. (I refer to the bible as a reference because it has been my source of guidance and inspiration. However, this book is not based on religion but on spiritual principles.) I was inspired to write this book based on the spiritual guidance I obtained through my trials, tribulations and life experience. (Following this guidance has resulted in my success…)

      I was the sixth child of eight: seven boys and one girl. I had an amazing mother, who raised all of us to become productive.  In my early childhood, I unknowingly suffered from a learning disability known as dyslexia. This disability caused me to read things backwards! I did not want anyone to know about this disability. I was ashamed and didn’t understand it at the time. When the teacher said things to the class, I retained every word and clearly understood what she was talking about but was unable to express myself on paper.

      So, being embarrassed about my condition, I would make up any reason to leave the classroom. When I was in class, I’d laugh out loud, horse-play around and use excuses to leave such as being sick or having to go to the restroom.  This behavior resulted in me being kicked out of all elementary and junior high schools and being labeled as a troubled youth.

      Not wanting to face my disability, I chose to hang out with other troubled youth. They became my family. They admired me and looked up to me as a leader and someone that they could talk to. Despite of the circumstances, I had it in me to inspire all of them who were around me at the time to get out of gangs and stop stealing. One day my mother wanted me to read directions for her that someone else had written. To her dismay, I read everything backwards. That is when she discovered there was a problem. I received professional help for my condition. Although I am sometimes challenged with it, I have overcome my disability.

      As a child I was always attracted to great leaders, speeches, bible scriptures and God’s word. I have been blessed with a gift of interpretation of God’s word and revelation. I have used this gift as well as my life experience to rise from a below average student to a premier entrepreneur. My interpersonal skills helped me elevate rapidly in
