      The Ascension Rays: Book 1by: Chris ComishI won this book from a LibraryThings giveawayThe author, Chris Comish, is a Reiki Healer and Reiki Master. Reiki is Japanese for 'Universal Life Energy' and he is an ordained minister in the 'Universal Life Church'The book is a meditation type book and how to harness the powers of Reiki. It is about recieving the powers around us and teaches us how to listen to it and how to use that power to better our lives.The book is very well written and easy to read. I highly recommend it.

      I liked this book, I just started to get into meditating. I believe in the energies around us that we can call on. The only thing I do not believe in is a "god", as in one up in heaven. I have two other books by Chris Comish and am looking forward to reading them also. I would like to be able to read the rest of the books he wrote.
