Lessons in Nature, Volume 1 of 3 is the first of a series of three books of poems on nature. The author has observed and recorded his observations for 25 years and has written poetry on bugs, flowers, birds, trees, insects, etc. Mr. Bevington enjoys using poetry because it involves both intellect and emotion. David Y Bevington has been writing poetry and stories for twenty-five years. He loves to observe nature, has a deep faith in our Creator, God, enjoys people and looks for the best in all he sees. He has written a number of books of nature poetry; inspirational poetry; Poetry on biblical themes, subjects; a book of hospice stories and poems; a book of unique materials for a wedding, and a book of his experience of almost losing his faith through a battle with a stasis ulcer. He is married, with two grown children and four grandchildren. In his 'retirement' he still pastors two small churches in the area south of Buffalo, New York.
