Reviews for The Third Science Fiction MEGAPACK®

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was a much better collection than the Second SF Megapack. The older stories were higher quality, though without any real classics other than H. Beam Piper's "Little Fuzzy". Nevertheless, they offer an interesting mix and some, like Robert F. Young's "Star Mother", show that Golden Age SF was a lot more sophisticated than it is given credit for.The modern stories were all much better than in the previous collection. I noticed that the modern stories in the Second Megapack were largely from the 90s and they had a very 90s feel, while these are more recent and feel more optimistic or at least have a less dark tone.Once again a decent collection at the price.
