The World is Your (Accessible) Oyster

As I flip through the articles in this Winter 2014 issue of Emerging Horizons, I’m reminded of the world of accessible travel choices we now have. That wasn’t necessarily true 20 years ago, when even a simple accessible hotel room was hard to find.

That said though, it’s time to start planning for those spring and summer travel adventures. In fact, I just made my reservations last week for our late spring trek out to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I was very lucky, as I was able to score one of the very last rooms. So don’t dally, especially if your travel plans involve a top-tier destination
