Ellen Vincent was brought up in Ghana but now lives in the UK. She is interested in all things that are natural. She hopes that she will be able to introduce these to Ghana at some stage together with all of the books that she has written on natural healthy living.Dealing with the outside of your body is fine but, to make the most of the creams and oils that you apply, you need to make sure that the foods that you eat are also doing their job. She is a big fan of green smoothies and makes sure that she has these every day. She feels invigorated after drinking them. You should look out for Ellen's books on green smoothies which include a volume that just contains ideas for recipes. She has built up her vast collection of green smoothie recipes by experimentation and following good practice.In the UK she came across apple cider vinegar and has found that this too is very useful when it comes to treating your skin and keeping your body healthy. She was so amazed by the many uses that can be found for apple cider vinegar that she wrote a book all about it. This too will soon be available through Smashwords.If you want to find out about how using a range of natural ingredients can be so good for your body and health, then you really should read Ellen's books. Introduction
My friends are always talking excitedly about the latest diet that they have found and how it is going wonderfully, and that they will soon be able to get into last year’s clothes. It is a done deal that after a few weeks they won’t be talking about it at all. On enquiring about the said diet they always say something like ‘oh that thing’ followed by ‘it was too hard’ or ‘the weight loss had stopped’. One has to ask, therefore, why diets are so hard to stick to and why do so many people start a diet, with such a good attitude, only to give it up in just a few weeks.
It is really common sense which says that if you don’t enjoy the diet or the changes that it has made to your lifestyle then it is very unlikely that you will keep to it for very long at all. Nobody wants to have a lifestyle which is both difficult and horrible to endure.
Diets are difficult. They have requirements. You have to change the way you live, change the way you look at food and change the way that you eat food. These requirements can make life unbearable and they can be too much for the average person to endure.
Food is all about enjoyment and the thought of not being able to eat your favorite food can be a real put off. Unfortunately, the majority of diets expect you to reject these foods that you love. It is no wonder that people on diets eventually give up.
You might think that if you eat pizza you will just get fatter and never actually lose weight. However, this is not necessarily true. Where as most diets are based around eating healthy foods, foods that aren’t very tasty and foods that many people just hate there are some diets that certainly do allow you to eat those favorite tasty foods.
Calorie cycling diets are an example of such diets. Of course you can only eat reasonable amounts of these favorite foods, but this is often enough to maintain a person’s motivation. Everybody should agree that food should be enjoyed and you don’t want to have to continually worry about every single thing that you eat. A Calorie cycling diet can take that worry out of dieting and also, on the plus side is the fact that, it really is an easy diet to use
