During the first decade of the 21st century, over 2 million Frolov devices were sold in Russia. Since the Frolov device is a popular medical device (it is approved by the FDA as well), one can buy a Frolov device in Russian pharmacies. Over 600 Russian doctors and other health professionals endorse and encourage the use of the Frolov breathing device to their patients in order to normalize body oxygenation and treat chronic fatigue, asthma, bronchitis, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea, problems with sleep, and many other conditions.

Several published clinical studies proved that breathing exercises with the Frolov device lead to improvements in key health parameters and symptoms for people with heart disease, diabetes, asthma, COPD and other conditions.

There are also people who want to defeat obesity, using the Breathslim, a breathing device that is very similar to the Frolov device. However, official instructions for the Frolov device and Breathslim do not include lifestyle changes for higher body oxygenation.

With these ideas in mind and after teaching the Buteyko breathing method and combined Buteyko-Frolov therapy to thousands of people, I decided to write this manual that includes lifestyle factors related to the legendary Buteyko method and breathing exercises with the Frolov device.

This book includes dozens of Western studies related to the body O2 test and its description. Second, the book offers a complete program for breathing retraining: how to get more than 20 seconds for the body O2 test 24/7 in order to stop progression of common maladies and eliminate medication and key signs and symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, heart disease, chronic fatigue and many other diseases.

This health program is based on major elements of the Buteyko technique and includes lifestyle modules related to physical exercise, sleep, nutritional deficiencies, and focal infections since any of these factors is crucial for health and higher body O2 content 24/7.

The book also includes a complete description of respiratory exercises to develop abdominal or diaphragmatic automatic breathing (for beginners) and how to make the modified Frolov device (for advanced students with more than 25 s for the body O2 test).
