About this ebook
Painless, effortless and natural birth delivery is Mother Nature's and God's given gift to every pregnant woman on this planet.
Let me make clear one thing. This book is not for everyone. It should be, but it isn't.
If you think that you can eat lousy food, be in bad physical shape, smoke, drink alcohol, use drugs, be an emotional wreck, and still expect to have painless, effortless and natural birthing experience, you are kidding yourself.
This book is for those women who have enough wisdom to understand the natural intent.
“Natural childbirth is best defined by the childbirth in which no physical, chemical or psychological condition is likely to disturb the normal sequence of events or disrupt the natural phenomena of bringing forth newborns.”- Grantly Dick –Read

Preface
First, let me begin by making something perfectly clear: I am not a doctor, but then pregnancy is not a disease, is it? And, allow me to make one more thing clear: this book is not for everyone. It should be, but it isn’t.
Painless, effortless and natural birth delivery is both Mother Nature's and God's given gift to every pregnant woman on this planet. However, if you think that you can eat lousy food, be in bad physical shape, smoke, drink alcohol, use drugs, be an emotional wreck, and still expect to have a painless, effortless and natural birthing experience, you are kidding yourself.
This book is for those women who have enough wisdom to understand the natural intent.
While there are several methods of birthing (most of them useful), such as: Lamaze (Pavlov method), LaBoyer, Underwater, Grantly Dick-Read's, etc., I have some reservation towards them all, because, among other things, for some reason or another, everybody assumes that at the end a woman must consciously push the baby out to help contractions. This is simply not true as suggested by Grantly Dick-Read:
Natural childbirth is best defined by the childbirth in which no physical, chemical or psychological condition is likely to disturb the normal sequence of events or disrupt the natural phenomena of bringing forth newborns.
Natural childbirth requires an environment of peace and protective calm. The modern hospital is the anti-thesis of such an environment.
A healthy person never sees a doctor.
Bragging about medical paraphernalia may only be a way of ignoring the truth about the condition in which modern societies find themselves these days. Putting so much emphasis on instruments as is done today should be a cause of great concern, rather than one of satisfaction and pride. Public health is getting worse, no matter how much they manipulate the statistics to deny it.
Take cancer for example. Despite all these decades of research and untold billions spent, there is still no cure. But at the same time, in the last 120 years, the cancer rate has risen from 1: 8,000 to 1:2. Also consider the hundreds of new and exotic diseases we discover daily, most of which we cannot even pronounce, and consider that somewhere deep in the Amazon jungle there are tribes that are completely oblivious and unaffected by any of them.
Abuse and brainwashing of women has been going on for centuries. Take for example the Bible: I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow though shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee – Genesis 3:16 (a word of God, or ramblings of some primitive male?). Or, perhaps, consider the word of a holy man:
The sentence of God on this sex of yours lives in this age. You (women are the devil's gateway. You destroy God's image, man." - Tertullian, one of the church fathers.
Furthermore, the Prophet Ibn 'Abbas said; ...I have been shown the fires of hell and I have seen that majority in hell are women, because of disrespect of their husbands and because they lack intelligence.
- Sahih Bukhari: 2:18:161; 7:62:125).
The list goes on and on, even into the present. Hollywood portrays women as being helpless, in great pain, and screaming their heads off during child birth.
The indignity which the vagina is subjected to as the baby is born is a source of great worry for many expectant mothers, many of which believe that deep tears and subsequent pain must be inevitable.
It is true that the vagina of non-pregnant woman could not be stretched to any such extent. However, during pregnancy, the vagina and all the surrounding tissues undergo progressive changes, and in the end it is eventually able to stretch to many times its former capacity. It is also important to note that the vagina is also capable of returning to its original form not long after natural birth.
Lithotomy is a medical term for a supine position (lying down on the back). It works against the natural force of gravity which assists the baby to find its way down the birth canal (It is a good thing they did not think to hang the women upside down, spread-eagle, by their feet).
A woman with her legs spread far apart and strapped into the metal stirrups of a delivery table cannot help but create tension in her perennial and surrounding tissues, giving the obstetrician every reason to perform his treasured episiotomy, as suggested by Professor G.J Kloostreman: …the first role of medicine is that of
nil nocere; injure nothing. The doctors are always on the lookout for pathology, eager to interfere, and will too often change physiological aspects of human reproduction into pathology.
If you are planning to have a home birth, it is highly recommended that you have a midwife present, as she is essentially a specialist skilled in a normal birth. Through hundreds of births, she has gained the invaluable knowledge of simple yet effective ways to keep a mother from tearing or bleeding. Sheila Kitzinger also supports this notion: The birth of a child is a family event and as such should, ideally, take place at home as a normal part of life.
(The Experience of Childbirth)
There are countless other reasons to avoid a hospital birth, although, there is a small percentage of cases where a hospital is indeed necessary. Finally, although it may seem that many things mentioned in this book need not be, rest assured that everything is in some way connected.
Chapter One
Beginning
Please note: if you are already pregnant read Chapters Seven and Eight first.
Let's use our imagination for a few minutes. It might help.
In your mind, try to eliminate all the matter in the entire universe. In doing so, you notice that time has also disappeared because there are no longer changes taking place. What we are left with is infinite space. Now comes the hard part: in your mind, eliminate the space. What we are now left with is that which we term God. God is not in space, space is in God!
No, this is not nothing. What it is cannot be spoken, for words are inadequate. But it can be said what it is like. It is like pure, infinite, calm water; like absolutely pure crystal, pure super-intelligent energy; like a Clear Light. This is the basis of all existence. This is the only ‘material’ available to the Creator: his own body
, for the creation of the existence, this infinite universe.
How did we ever come from this to the point where such horrifying things are inflicted on the mother and baby? (Does the book not say: Believe and it will be so
? A much better way is to know things.)
Some say life begins at birth. However, is a baby in the womb technically dead? Of course not!
Long before they are born, babies are thinking (non-verbally), feeling, learning, and acting. They can see, hear, taste, smell and touch, and above all, they remember everything. What happens to them before, during, and immediately after their birth will profoundly influence the rest of their lives.
So, when does a life start? Well, let's take a look. The cells of the body (they are alive, aren’t they?) have created an egg, and a sperm used in your process of procreation. The cells, the egg, and the sperm are all alive and intelligent. It should be obvious, if you take a look backwards, that they were never dead.
All living organisms, plants, as well as animals, are built up of cells. The cells are the smallest living building components. Almost all living organisms start from one single cell, fertilized egg, or ovum. The male reproductive apparatus discharges three to five cubic centimeters of seminal fluid, containing several hundred million vigorously swimming sperm. The length of each sperm cell is approximately 60 microns (0.002 inch). A sperm cell, with its pointed head and tail, will swim 15 - 18 cm on its way to the egg. Sperm will swim in a formation and in the same direction. They know exactly which way to go and what they need to do. The journey itself takes about six hours.
The sperm are on their way into the uterus, through the protective mucous plug in the cervix,
