This story is from the journal about Levi Ritter's life when he was seventeen, and about his dramatic explorations.
Levi, a young artifact explorer, finds several golden relics in a Canadian Mountain cave, who is then propelled by his desire to understand the multiple etches on the chest plate, that within time he is permitted by his parents to take on the most unknown and risky expedition; thousands of miles from home to quench his drive. On Levi’s dangerous journey, he is captured by a violent tribe of natives who uses him as their salve, but when he escapes the young man is hunted; running until young Levi rips the tendons in his knee and is unable to move, lying in the jungle wondering if what had been driven to was now worth it. With Levi’s last hopes of survival, by early morning the most terrifying event happens.
