About this ebook
Many eating disorders are related to a project of unbalanced diet. In an effort to conform to an ideal of thinness packed with cultural elements almost always misleading, men and women engage in projects that serve food to achieve the ideal, far from pursuing their own happiness. The failure of this project is seen as failure of his personal and social identity. Depression can be then the effect of determining the difference between her body and the ideal. This ideal is the basis of the widespread use of diets and sports activities dedicated to the care of the body. Women in particular, are more exposed to suffering produced by this tension toward the social ideal, as the body fat is the ideal of contemporary beauty. Despite the multiplicity of hypotheses advanced to explain this widespread phenomenon, it is shared the idea of an adjustment for those models that face cultural ideals of beauty marked by exaggerated standards of thinness. On a psychological and social factors that are considered most frequently implicated in the onset of eating disorders relate to low self-esteem, perfectionism, depression, impulsiveness, distortion of body image, lack of relevant social and difficulties in interpersonal relationships.

Introduction
The term eating disorders is done routinely refer to a disturbance or discomfort characterized by an altered relationship with food and your body. Nutrition in eating disorders can take on characteristics very messy, chaotic, obsessive and ritualistic manner which diminishes the possibility of eating a meal in a fairly normal
and to maintain normal attitudes towards food and mealtimes. All we have in our style of food unique aspects, but when these elements become such as to compromise the quality of our lives and our social relations we must think of an eating disorder. In some cases we witness compensatory binges
, i.e. an exaggerated introduction of food made in an informed and encouraged by a lack of understanding of food issues and the underestimation of the risks associated with the reckless consumption of food. For some individuals socially frustrated the pleasure of eating is a compensation and reward in itself. They are spreading two new diseases whose effects are as devastating as anorexia and bulimia nervosa: the binge eating, i.e. eating to bursting without rejecting forcefully and Night eating food which consists in emptying the refrigerator at night. The binge eating disorder is a recent acquisition of diagnostic definition that describes a clinical eating behavior of bulimic type, characterized by recurrent episodes of binge eating and repeated throughout the day and associated with the feeling of losing control of the act of eating. This disorder can lead to the assumption of high amounts of food and consequent increase in weight.
The DSM-IV TR distinguished: different entities, namely Anorexia Nervosa (AN) and bulimia nervosa (BN), Binge Eating Disorder (BED) and Eating Disorders Not Otherwise Specified (NAS or EDNOS). Eating disorders not otherwise specified are those that do not meet the criteria for any specific eating disorder and often represent forms borderline that could later turn into anorexia or bulimia. These include: the cases in which all the criteria of anorexia are satisfied, but in the presence of a normal menstrual cycle, all the criteria of anorexia satisfied but with a body weight that is maintained within normal limits, all the criteria for bulimia nervosa are met but with crises less frequent rumination binge eating disorder such as bulimia, which is characterized by large binges, but does not implement behaviors elimination of compensation. Bigorexia is an eating disorder, which is a growing trend, also known by other names such as: vigorexia, muscle dysmorphia, anorexia reverse and is included in the diagnostic category of eating disorder not otherwise specified. Lately, the panorama of changes in feeding behavior appeared another new dietary disturbance that affects the middle class of industrialized countries in bringing it to the hungry obsessive search of genuine and natural. The new disease, which was given the name orthorexia nervosa, was first developed in America because of the spread of transgenic food, but then it has spread in Europe driven by the mad cow disease psychosis. Everyone knows that eating healthy is good but when the search for pure food, organic and totally genuine obsession becomes no longer a question of fact related to hygiene and health, but a real disease.
Anorexia
Anorexia is characterized by a sustained and determined pursuit of thinness and weight loss, which is seen as a success and not as a problem even when it reaches levels hazardous to health. In typical cases there is a real anorexia, hunger is present even if not satisfied. The onset is usually after a diet undertaken in order to lose a few pounds. Early on, the user experiences a feeling of euphoria to achieve the objective of weight loss, however, the continued operation of the weight loss comes to losing control over their power, losing weight, so he continues with a low chance to stop voluntarily. Despite being underweight, the person continues to be
