    My Little Adopted Sisters of Joy the First Weeks was started after I brought home two adopted kittens. As a photographer I started to take photos of the kittens, and the next thing that I knew I had hundreds of great pictures. This book has over 70 images with captions that will surely entertain adults and children alike. I made a 2012 calendar for family, friends and clients. I was surprised how many of the recipients children commandeered the calendar to put in their rooms, and the requests for additional calendars which I did not have. Children just love the pictures. Thus this first book of captioned pictures is being published so many other people can enjoy my little bundles of joy as much as I do.

Over the years from having my own B&W darkroom, self-taught skills and professional training my skills as a photographer developed. At this point in my life I enjoy taking pictures of anything that attracts my eye and wondering if I can capture the essence of what I see. Like most photographers know most of what I take never meets muster, is almost there and then there are the home runs. Now is the time to start sharing one of my loves in life through publishing.
