    How to Use This Book

    1) Choose the primary ultimate purpose you have for your speech project in the four categories of the TEPI© method:

    Training, Entertaining, Persuasion, Inspiration

    2) Once you have speech purpose you can go the corresponding pages, in approximately the order listed for those types of speeches, listed on the following pages. Read each relevant page, gather inspiration and then, answer the questions in the project pages to write a stellar speech.

    NOTE: There are 26 elements in all, but every speech should have these 13:

    Purpose & Points, Know Your Audience, Big Bang Beginning, Flow, Meaningful Conclusion, Neat Package, You, Storytelling, Timing, Less is More, Words, Delivery Humor (almost always).
