INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Essential European survival guide. This guide is packed full of helpful phrases to aid travelers travelling to four popular destinations in Europe. There is nothing more likely to ruin your vacation than being in a foreign country and encountering a problem. Unable to express yourself or voice a concern may lead to possible panic. This guide is intended to provide the traveler with hundreds of key phrases based around common problems that a traveler may experience. It will assist with ordering food and drinks and other day-to-day occurrences like transportation or telling the time. With the Essential European Survival Guide, you can relax in comfort knowing that you have helpful and potentially life saving phrases available at your fingertips! Phrases to aid with emergency situations, such as, medical emergencies and passport and customs issues are included, without over complicating things.
These common phrases have been put together in four different languages (French, German, Spanish and Italian) rather than buying guides for individual countries, you have the most visited European destinations all in one guide. Each language is divided into its own categories containing phrases on a particular topic. Each topic covers many situations and provides relevant information relating to situations that you may encounter when visiting one of these four non-English speaking destinations.
This guide is not going to teach you a foreign language, nor will it cover every situation, but it covers many common issues and problems. It is a no fluff
guide that you can just pick up and use. With this guide you can simply show the person (waitress, doctor, customs officer) the relevant question/statement or attempt to speak it yourself, which is definitely the better option. So give it a go! Either way this guide WILL assist you with your travels and prove to be a valuable asset. Good luck and happy holidays!!
