Reaching Your Dream - Felix J Bendezu

    Book

    INTRODUCTION

Seeds of Greatness, Splendor, and Magnificence!

When you dream, incredible ideas come to your subconscious. Your mind lives in fantastic scenes: You soar on wings like eagles; you are with nice-looking people in a far-away country; or you are able to be in fellowship with heavenly angels; and other terrific experiences that belong to the dream’s world.

The wonderful Dream-Giver puts inside you seeds of greatness, splendor, and magnificence!

Next time, pay special attention to your dream, probably it has an important message for your life.

Another meaning of dream, influenced by the author, is the vision of something ideal you want to reach or a big problem to solve.

Glowing dreams can help you to reach a higher plane and develop a constant vision of triumph in your life.

In your lifetime, you will have many precious dreams, but they are of no value if you do not seize and enhance them until you are rewarded.

Joseph the dreamer pressed on his dreams, shared them, and became the most famous Governor of Egypt.

Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon was extremely concerned about his dream, and the future of humankind was shown to him.

Christopher Columbus pressed on with his dream and discovered the American continent.

You should maintain the vision in your goals, press it on, and keep yourself motivated. If you do so, you will enjoy a vibrant and exciting life.

Hold on to your precious dream. Don’t give up! Something precious is going to happen. Go forth and reach your dream! Nobody can take away your glowing dreams if God sets it in your heart.

    The compressed idea:

An accomplished dream is just the beginning of new dreams. The fact that one dream had become a reality, is an invitation to start a new dream.

    Chapter I

    ACHIEVED DREAMS

An achieved dream makes your heart glad, your life grows to be more exciting, and your heart lifts up in thanksgiving to the Wonderful God.

One of my dreams was achieved in the university, when I finished my studies in architectural. With strong and courageous efforts, I had reached my professional degree. This achievement made me so happy that it sounded like sweet music in my ears.

It was awesome, and one of the biggest dreams of my life had been accomplished!

Family and friend cheered for me and conferred good wishes for my professional life. From Puerto Rico, my sister Nelly sent me an envelope with a congratulatory card and a plane ticket to the Enchanted Island.

Life showed me a promising future!

Another dream came true, when the feminine charm captivated my heart. Tenaciously, I pursued that dream and married a beautiful woman. Heaven bent down and kissed the earth on our wedding night!

How wonderful is confirm the divine seeds of splendor and magnificence become a reality in your life.

After reaching these dreams, I beheld a promising future. I was ready to conquer the world!

I knew what to do: We pressed it on the American Dream, applying for the Resident Visa for both of us.

Our first choice was to go to Puerto Rico where I had a pending invitation to work.

However, an internal feeling agitated my soul and when trying to discover it, I found something unbelievable: it was another dream that started to cherish my mind!

    The compressed idea:

Each great dream starts with a dreamer. Remember, you can find inside you the strength, the patient, and the passion to reach the stars and change the world (Harriet Tubman, 1820-1913).

    Missionary Dream

Have you ever had a desire to help less fortunate people? Leading a blind man or a child crossing the street? Or help any poor widow with destitute children? Every now and then, to serve those in need is a concerned feeling that invades your heart and mine!

Yes! Helping other people was my new dream! But, how can we help them?

Most of the time, it is a humanly impossible task! You don’t have the power to solve the countless human problems.

In those circumstances, the only thing you can do is to lean on the Omnipotent God, because when the human power joins with the God’s power, then, man becomes empowered to do astonishing deeds.

That binomial, divine-human combination, is the source of power to do great enterprises that will leave prints of hope in humanitarian service.

    That powerful combination explains how:

Mother Teresa could help thousands of lepers in India and other parts of the world.

David Livingstone saved thousands of sick people while working with African unfortunate people.

Fernando and Ana Stahl transformed the spiritual and social status of the Indians in Peru and Bolivia, making them aware of their rights and obligations and showing them the route of human dignity.

You too can share the spiritual enterprise, lifting up wretched people in any part of the world.

When you help people in their emotional, spiritual, psychological, and physical needs, you become a missionary, which means a God’s bless-giver person!

For several days, a great struggle was inside my mind because of this missionary dream.

My heart beat faster and faster, trying to pacify my disturbed being. There was no logical explanation. I had just graduated from the university in architecture.

A big dilemma was in front of me: What must I do? Would I work as a professional architect, get a nice house, make a lot of money, and enjoy life? Or else, should I dedicate my life to serve other people according to this imperative missionary dream?

A missionary is a minister, sent to serve
