About this ebook
A gripping story of how an entire family, deeply enmeshed in Mormonism for thirty years, found their way out and found faith in Jesus Christ.
For thirty years, Lynn Wilder, once a tenured faculty member at Brigham Young University, and her family lived in, loved, and promoted the Mormon Church. Then their son Micah, serving his Mormon mission in Florida, had a revelation: God knew him personally. God loved him. And the Mormon Church did not offer the true gospel.
Micah's conversion to Christ put the family in a tailspin. They wondered, Have we believed the wrong thing for decades? If we leave Mormonism, what does this mean for our safety, jobs, and relationships? Is Christianity all that different from Mormonism anyway?
As Lynn tells her story of abandoning the deception of Mormonism to receive God's grace, she gives a rare look into Mormon culture, what it means to grow up Mormon, and why the contrasts between Mormonism and Christianity make all the difference in the world.
Whether you are in the Mormon Church, are curious about Mormonism, or simply are looking for a gripping story, Unveiling Grace will strengthen your faith in the true God who loves you no matter what.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I am not an evangelical Christian so I am not this book's target audience. I picked it up at the library because I grew up a non-Mormon in a predominantly Mormon area, and I am always fascinated by stories of people leaving the LDS church and community. For all those reasons, I found this a fascinating read. The end of the book and sections sprinkled throughout are exclusively about converting LDS folks to "real" Christianity (aka evangelical Protestantism) which was pretty valueless to me, but the memoir pieces were very interesting and engaging.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed this book! It helped me understand how LDS people think. Because I live in a heavily mormon area, (not Utah) I have many LDS friends and acquaintances. I also completely agree about the Church being Satan's synagogue. Some really scary stuff!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The autobiographical is a stunning portrayal of how a cult like Mormonism is so brainwashing and difficult from which to be freed. But that’s the Gospel of Christ Jesus. The Truth will set you free!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Having had a similar story to Lynn made me enjoy and appreciate this book. It was wonderful to see how Jesus guided them and opened their eyes. If you've been trapped in a cult or church that doesn't allowed a direct relationship with God I highly recommend this book. It was So good that I couldn't put it down.
