      This is the first book I have read that Charles Stanley has written. I thought the book would be about how to study the Bible but instead it is about why we should commit ourselves to the study of His Word. Even though you might think that you know why, the book helped me to remember the reasons and Charles Stanley elaborates on those reasons. I really like the way he writes. It's very direct and no fluff. I found encouragement through this book. I will continue to read his other books after I am finished with this one.
