She is a graduate of the Medical School at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her doctoral thesis was in the fields of Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, and Neurobiology which earned her two National awards for her research work. As a Neurobiologist, her research focused on understanding how neurons in the brain make connections during early stages of development. Little that she knew then that her research work has paved the way for her work today.
As a former professor, Clinical Director of a transplant laboratory, a mother of two and a wife, she dealt with the extreme amount of stress that caused her ill health in 2006. This experience forced her to shift her attention to find balance in her life and especially in her relationships. Since then and Raja has been on a magical transformational journey of first changing her relationship with herself and second with others around her. The results of this transformational experience, especially her relationship with her daughters, underlined the importance of connections with ourselves foremost and with others around us to create incredible, robust relationships that will support our growth and success.view less
