S...view moreAuthor and speaker Amy P. Kennedy inspires people of all ages to love life and to know God intimately. A mom, former home educator and ordained minister, she is the author of 5 novels and eBooks. She has taught individuals and groups for 35 years in her local church and community. Amy enjoys writing everything from blogs to novels, especially romance, fantasy and Sci-Fi, her favorite genres.
Amy started scribbling stories and poems when she was 6, beginning a lifelong love of the written word. She later discovered that she could talk about it, too, and that people would actually listen. She never shared her stories until several years ago when she first published Heart in the Highlands, a Scotland inspirational romance, just for fun.
She enjoys writing everything from blogs to full length novels especially romance, fantasy and Sci-Fi, her favorite genres. Reading, playing piano and guitar, and writing songs keeps her creativity flowing. In 2006 Amy started her own company, My Divine Romance and later, Burning Rose Press, to share her work and her love of romance. She loves to talk about her intimate relationship with God and how knowing Him changed her perspective on life.
In her own words, she is “A woman greatly loved by God who loves Him deeply in return.” Two of her favorite scripture verses are Song of Solomon 4:9, “He captured my heart with one glance from His eyes,” and the inspiration for Heart in the Highlands, Hebrews 11:1, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
A Pittsburgh native, she loves country living, and is passionate about her Divine Romance and feeding children in Burundi, Central Africa.view less
