Hello! My name is Dr. Phil D Mayers. I was born, raised, and live in Lafayette, Louisiana, USA. When I was young I helped in my father and mother’s restaurants. I attended Lafayette, High school, was a Boy Scout, boxed on my high school team, and played a piccolo in my high School band.
I studied at Louisiana State University, the University of Southwestern Louisiana, and Loyola Dental School. After practicing General Dentistry for 5 years. I went on to study at the University of Nebraska where I earned my post-doctorate degree, as a Dental Specialist in Periodontics.
During my practice as a Periodontist, I took time off to improve my baking skills at Clark College in Vancouver Washington. Over the years, In addition to my dental practice, I, and several family and friends, had the pleasure of spending a good deal of quality time, serving my Loving God, as a Visiting Medical Missionary in Southern Mexico.
I love to focus on my passion for WRITING and spending quality time with my family and friends. And most importantly, I am who I am. It’s an inside job. I’m a free spirit and feel real good about myself. I enjoy each and every day and am forever thankful for the wonderful life that my Loving God has given me.
