Stewart lives in rural Arizona with her husband, together they have two adult sons. Starlene blogs at GAPS Diet Journey about the Gut and Psychology Syndrome Diet and her healing journey. In 2009, at 46 years of age, she thought she was destined to endure aches and pains, and ugly shoes. After 13 days on the GAPS Diet her feet and back stopped aching. Within a year she was off asthma medication, and at the two year mark had lost close to 70 pounds.
