Having dabbled in writing for most of his life, it wasn't until taking on the challenge of NaNoWriMo in November 2014 that David's first book, Ghost Track:Melissa, was completed.
David had this to say about the experience:
"I had a major project on the go before NaNoWriMo and it wasn't Ghost Track! My first major push at writing a book was a project titled 'Crimson Rising' and I thought, at that time, I was doing well with it.
It wasn't until I considered NaNoWriMo that another idea of mine seemed like the way to go.
That idea was Ghost Track: Melissa.
I will be eternally thankful for making the decision to attempt that competition as it showed me just how disorganised and disjointed I was with my writing approach. It taught me to be considerably more organised and structured and was a massive learning curve. I would recommend it to any budding novelists!
Ghost Track: Melissa was published on 4th August 2015 with at least two more books planned in the series. Crimson Rising is still very much alive as a project and I aim to release in late 2016!"
David's preferred writing genres are thrillers and action adventure stories.
