Award-winning author Gillian Doyle has been a college radio DJ and an aerobics instructor at Richard Simmons’ Anatomy Asylum. She has counted whales as a member of the Gray Whale census and volunteered at the Cabrillo Aquarium as a Whale Watch Naturalist on board sea excursions off the coast of Southern California.
