She...view moreFil Nufrio works as an elementary Early Childhood Educator in Toronto, Canada. She began to write stories at a young age and wrote her first book for her oldest nephew in 1981. She enjoys seeing the smiles and excitement from children when stories are read to them; this is when she decided to publish her book. With her background in design, Fil tried her hand at illustrating her own books. With great success she knew she had a great book for children to read when she wrote “Bogart The Puppy Gets A New Home.” Bogart her dog is dear to her heart and hopes to make his adventure dear to everyone who reads the story. This is just one of many incidents, which Fil Nufrio has had with her dog and is inspired to write about their adventures together.view less
