He undertook ...view moreFrank Bannister is a senior lecturer in information systems and head of the Information Systems Discipline in the School of Computer Science and Statistics in Trinity College. Dublin. He undertook his doctoral research into the role of leadership in the evolution of ICT usage in the Irish civil service. Since completing his doctorate he has continued to develop his interest in e-government and e-democracy and has published widely in the field of e-government and e-democracy. His current research interests are on the impact of ICT in the public sector on privacy, trust, values and governance. Frank is a founding member of the European Conference on e-Government and a co-director of the Permanent Study Group on e-government in the European Group of Public Administration. He is a fellow of Trinity College, Dublin a fellow of the Irish Computer Society and a Chartered Engineer.view less
