My name is Zach Watson. I am a 22 year old college student at Eastern Connecticut State University majoring in Communications with a concentration in media writing. My minor, at the moment, is theater. Ever since high school and probably even before hand I have loved to write. Writing to me is the best form of expression. My love for poetry began my junior year of high school when I was learning about the Beat Generation. This sparked something I didn't expect. It sparked a creativity I knew was there but I didn't have an outlet to express myself. Soon after learning about the beatniks I began writing poetry. Since then I continue to write. For the last three years I have performed poetry and continue to craft and learn. I love to hike, bike, and generally stay active. I consider myself a hip hop head but I love to explore other genres. My goal is to keep writing until my hands have enough.view less
