I’m 42 years old and all my lif...view moreI just want to take a little time to tell all the poetry lovers a little about myself and why I put this collection of my poetry together in “Poetry from the Heart”. I’m 42 years old and all my life I loved sitting off by myself to read, write or draw. Growing up my mom always encouraged me to do that which made me happy and because of that, I’ve chosen to use this collection of my poetry in this book to self publish.
Since my mom’s passing 13 years ago, my husband, our three girls and five grandbabies have become my strength in continuing to write. All my life was full of storms that had me up and down with many mishaps. Some of these storms tried my faith and others tried my belief, but while in the storms I found calling on God and writing helped me through each storm I faced.view less
