“I was single, celibate and accepting a life that did not include a “partner.” I had known some legendary lovers and had been married to three different men (not all at the same time of course)…and thought it might be fun to expand my circle of friends. Imagine my surprise to find myself gradually ensnared in a net of love. At the time, both of us were groping through the tangle of confusion (like seaweed) in our personal lives. Yet something was becoming quite clear, compelling us to unite and face the challenges…as they inevitably would occur.”

When two very different lives intersect, expect the unexpected. I learned that firsthand. I certainly never envisioned a relationship with “T'Pring.” She was an iconic character on the original Star Trek series in the episode “Amok Time”... who attracted me through her palpable sensuality. She captured my attention in ways I’m sure you can imagine. I loved the way she uttered the word "Specify" and I was entranced by those intensely soulful eyes. Now THAT was escapism for a shy 10 year-old boy growing up in sleepy San Leandro. I never anticipated becoming a “leading man” in Arlene’s life.
I discovered that Arlene was as formidable in her own life as “T’Pring” was in hers. Both ran “amok” with my heart. Through a series of intimate emails, we want to share our unique relationship with you.
