A good friend of mine once told me I was missing my calling in life, that I had a "Gift" in writing and I should pursue it. I later came in contact with a man, who I feel inspired me. Night after night, just by looking into his eyes I began to write. It seemed that he in some miraculous way, just pulled the words right out of my soul. Although, he and I met, he didn't feel a love connection with me, but we still remain good friends, as he did say I was an Amazing Lady with a Amazing Mind.
The title of my book, "The Blue Rose That Lives Within", I dedicate to this special man, in that he was the first man to ever try and buy me a single, blue rose, which is my favorite. Blue Roses are unttainable, unique and that of a mystery, and I relate myself to them. I symbolize myself as the Blue Rose, in that I too, like it, am unique and somewhat of a mystery. There was a time in my own life that I questioned God, because of everyday struggles that I faced. Believing in God and never letting go of my dreams has lead me to where I am now. As the Blue Rose is cradled in God's Hands, just like I am, in that as long as we pray to God to help us with the obstacles and struggles in our lives, he cradles us in his arms and makes our dreams possible.
In reading my book, if I inspire just one person they to, can relate to my life, and feel the explosive, emotional journey hidden deep within me, and relate it to their own struggles and obstacles, realizing that their is Hope, in their lives as well.
My name is Stacy Cook-Cooper, I am a single Mom to two of the most wonderful children. I have a teenage son and a daughter. We, together struggle through lfe, but we share a unique bond, that of family, security and love for eachother, that like a candle, as long as we hold tight to hope and believe in God, it will eternally burn inside of us .
I live in Montrose, Georgia, a sleepy little tumble-weed town on the North end of Laurens County. I was born the last of four girls to a very prominent family in the community. Although, both of my parents are now deceased, I feel they would be very proud of me now, in that I hung on to a dream and made it a reality. I hope you enjoy reading my book.
