Charles Dickens
Charles Dickens was born in 1812 and grew up in poverty. This experience influenced ‘Oliver Twist’, the second of his fourteen major novels, which first appeared in 1837. When he died in 1870, he was buried in Poets’ Corner in Westminster Abbey as an indication of his huge popularity as a novelist, which endures to this day.

Reviews for Charles' Dickens "A Christmas Carol" — A Full-Cast Production
15 ratings1 review
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A classic story performed with mixed results. While a full cast recording sounds fun, it didn't turn out all great. Some actors are better than others, but the recording itself just is not very good. The inconsistent volumes between the various parts, and some of the ghost voice effects make certain passages really difficult to follow, especially while driving. A remaster would do a lot of good and shouldn't be too hard to do.
