      I choose books for my dad and he is enjoying the series.

      The reader is incredible with the wide variety of accents. Since I've lived in PA all my life, being born on a farm with an original deed signed by Wm. Penn's sons & spending my married life of 20 years on a farm/home built circa 1760, I'm having the best time hearing all the back-story of nearby towns. Who knew Shamokin was a big deal in 1760?

      Tremendous read , Sir Arthur Conon Doyle would be proud . Having just traveled through the area noted ,it gives one a different perspective as to the ruggedness of the area , as well as a reverence of the people of the era.

      Great adventure and I loved the story of the different tribe's old ways were being lost. I get so mad the main character and I almost have to stop reading until the next night. He has had shop many chances to go to the Carolina's and I think he is afraid because he will finally have to be the Head of the Clan.

      Interesting historical information from start to finish giving the reader a new insight into Indians of that time. The author brings the reader into the story. The narrator couldn’t possibly be any better! A great read!
