      A little slow to start with but you need to stay with it. It was so good!

      This book is the perfect prequel to spooky season. I loved and enjoyed the plot and also the little bit of romance in it . I was sad for Scarlett and Jackson. Other than that I recommend thia book

      I put this book off for so long because idk I have to be in the mood for witches and schools, but I finally thought it was time.

      We follow two witches from very different lives that end up in the same sorority.

      One has never stayed in the same spot for more than a few months. Never had friends or hobbies to call her own. With only her mother by her side living off the miniscule money her mother gets from reading people's fortune, but when she gets accepted to college she wants to leave that all behind for stability. Even tho the death card is plaguing her she goes and finds out she has power.

      Our other witch is from a legacy family. Born and breed to be the future president of the sorority like her sister and mother before her, and she's willing to do anything. Cover up a murder, and try to get the girl who's caught her boyfriends eye out of the way, but when a girl from her past comes back they must find a relic to save the coven.

      First of all, I am not the target audience for this book. I got it through my monthly book box and it is not something I would have ever bought myself.It is so fricking boring!It is the same old story of a supposedly ugly duckly turning into the Queen Bee with the twist of a witchy sorority ... yawn.Sorority stories are not my tea to begin with, it is a concept I just can't get into. And this book is serving every cliche there is. The new girl falls in love with the popular girl's boyfriend, popular girl hates new girl and in the end everyone is buddy buddy.All paired with questionable messages about how important looks seem to be.If I have to say one nice thing about it, then it would be the back and forth of the story telling from the two main characters. But overall it felt like a forced story, which was already told a gazillion times and the witch aspect didn't add anything new to it.
