Why Political Science Classics Collection is so important? In today's world, providing quality training for the younger generation at colleges and universities is of primary importance. Marcus Aurelius (121–180 CE) was a soldier and a philosopher considered to be the last of the Five Good Emperors of Rome. During his reign, Rome saw more military victories than ever before. Aurelius defeated the Parthian Empire and fought the Marcomanni, Quadi, and Sarmatians with success despite the encroaching Germanic tribes.
