    Since its first publication in 1611, the King James Version of the Bible, with its flowing language and rhythmic prose, has had a profound influence on the literature of the past 400 years and is the greatest English translation ever produced. Early in the nineteenth century, however, the British and Foreign Bible Society decided to exclude the 14 books known as “the Apocrypha”. Today, English Bibles with the Apocrypha are becoming more popular again.

    Now for the first time, the original, unexpurgated version of the King James Bible – complete with all of the Apocrypha – is available as an audiobook performed by British narrator Christopher Glyn who has been acclaimed for his many Biblical readings and other classic christian inspirational works.

      KJV 1611. Great narration. He reads it so well it sounds like the NKJV. I try to listen at work everyday and I feel better when I get off work after listening all day.
