About this audiobook
The Science of Getting Rich is a guide to prosperity through the power of positive thinking. Originally published in 1910, author Wallace D. Wattles uses New Thought Movement philosophy to explain the simple steps to follow for those who wish attract wealth into their lives. New Thought blends transcendentalism with science to explain how humans can use the strength of will to change their lives in meaningful ways.
Based on the idea that one’s mental state can bring about fortune or desolation, this book outlines 17 tenets for overcoming one’s mind to invite wealth in. Each chapter goes into detail about a choice that each individual can make to improve their mentalities, such as understanding will power, finding opportunities suited to one’s abilities, and practicing gratitude.
The belief that one’s mind impacts one’s wealth is still popular over a century after The Science of Getting Rich was published. This book helps readers reflect on the power of positive mental attitudes and inspires a more conscious way of thinking.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This is the worst book I’ve ever listened to on self help / finance. I gave this book 2 hours before I had enough and just removed it from the downloads. I literally feel like I’ve wasted two hours of my life listening to this lady ramble about bs life philosophies and god. There is so many better books on here then this one on any of these topics discussed in this book. This book sucks.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Truly revealing. The contents and guide is simple to understand. I have listen to it over and over
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It became grating to listen as the narrator droned on about nothing concrete. I bailed early; maybe the later chapters are better.
