      Lovely story, full of humorous dialog. Well written, and the narrator was great too.

      This is what I like to call a banter book. There is a lot of very funny, witty banter between Ros, the heroine, her friends, her co-workers, and anyone else who wanders into her orbit. It made me laugh - a lot. There is also some slapstick as Ros falls down a lot too which was not as funny in my opinion, especially the scene where she's at Patrick's house when he and his publisher show up (no spoilers).This is also more of a women's lit book rather than a rom-com. Yes, there's some romance, but the main plot deals with Ros, her family, friends, and work people, and how she's nostalgic for her previous life before she moved to America. Now she's back in London and she's having trouble adjusting to the changes. Her ex-boyfriend Patrick is comfort food next to the unknown adventure of John for her, and it takes her a while to realize that maybe looking forward might be better. This is a book in the vein of Mhairi Mcfarlane or Sophie Kinsella and just an enjoyable read. I really loved Ros and her journey.
