This book was very good. It kinda just jumped into it. Wasn't a long wait to see what happens. SPOILER ALERT... THE DOG DOES NOT DIE!1 person found this helpful

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Audiobook is the best way to experience this book. Quick, engaging, some nasty stuff without being gorey. Loved it....it's a short story, worth every minute

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The performance was really good, but the story lacked tension past the first few chapters. If you want a story with a slow, creeping sense of dread, of an unreliable narrator further losing their grip on reality, read The Haunting of Hill House. If you want an unsettling possession story, read the Exorcist. This is a good story to listen to while at the beach, typing at work, or passing the time, but it never seems to realize its horrific potential.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 star read! Love the POVS, the atmosphere, the build up, the characters. The last 10pages ??? I’ll for sure be rereading super soon.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5A quick easy novella that kept my attention, but was extremely tropey and predictable. If you haven't read or watched much horror this would make a great introduction to the genre.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Predictable and formulaic….a one size fits all demonic possession story.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This was on a most disturbing books list, and I’m disappointed, honestly
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Kind of boring. Writing and story was fine. Just could have used more.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Dang this story was sad for the main character. Not tears sad just...frustrated for her sad.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love the story! the ending pretty sad and the narrator did a good job
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed a new take on a possession story. I look forward to reading other titles from this author.

Wow!!!!!!
So she was a little crazy to laugh this shit off. I'm not even religious (anymore) and I would have been running to my nearest spiritualist or priest. It sucks because it literally ruined her life. Successful career, job . . . just ruined. But see, the first sign of me losing control would have triggered me.
This was creepy but good.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Very well written, but a formulaic plot. I’d definitely be interested in her other books
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was an okay book. I was actually a little disappointed. It wasn’t that scary.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5would have been a good read if it werent for the homophobic comments randomly thrown in there
