About this audiobook

My new boss has it all. In spades.

Gorgeous green eyes? Check. Hard-and-sexy body? Check. Intelligence? Check. Success? A big fat billionaire . . . Check.

Too bad I haven't started out on the best foot. My big mouth has already turned him against me, and tempting good looks and success aside, Trent Turner is no peach either. He's stubborn and thick-headed, and son of a fruitcake, he thinks he knows everything there is to know about the hotel business.

With him running the development of the new Vanderturn New Orleans Hotel and me doing the design, our work relationship is far too intimate for two people who absolutely despise one another. But that's not all. See, he isn't just my billionaire boss from hell. He's my new neighbor, too.

Same city. Same building. Same floor. Trent Turner is my billionaire boss next door.

Holy moly, let's hope my career-and hormones-can survive.

Contains mature themes.

Loved the story, hated the narrators. I am 100% certain that a New York raised billionaire shouldn't sound like a California surfer. The female narrator has the most annoying habit of making short stops in narration where there shouldn't be any stops. It was absolutely infuriating and I almost didn't get through it. I can't believe the author, publisher or anyone else with their hands in this book signed off on these narrators.

2.5 stars and my least favorite Max Monroe book. The humor fell flat and the chemistry was lack luster.

Narrators kept me engaged but I would’ve DNF if I was only reading this and not liatening to the audiobook.

This was a dud for me. Could not get past listening my way through to the 5th chapter. The female narrator had a monotone nasally voice that was hard to like. Also, the subject matter seemed all over the place. I might try this author again in the future though.

Laughed my gut out . It’s a must read. Maybel is a sweetheart I’ve fallen in love love with. It’s worth the time spent.

This was really dumb and the narrators were so bad. The male narrator’s female impression was cringy. Couldn’t stand the h. Skipped alot just to finish it, and wish I would have just skipped the whole thing.

Story is funny, cute, steamy- overall great, but there are noticeable issues with the narration. The female has this super aggravating pace and longer than normal pauses follow every sentence causing the flow to be stunted. Weird. The male was OK, but was really over the top and the voice didn’t fit the characters, in my opinion.

The outrageous over-the-top fake voice Alexander Cendese uses for female lead character is the same in every audiobook he narrates. it cracks me up, makes me smile. Liked the story.
