About this audiobook

Logan Ward doesn't want any more women in his life.

Being a football player and legal guardian to his four younger sisters means his playbook is full. However, one of them just landed in the hospital, which gives his brother the shot he needs to challenge Logan for custody. Legal counsel says there's only one thing Logan can do-find himself a wife.

Paige McKinney doesn't always think things through.

Like walking away from her modeling career without a thought of what might come next. She really doesn't think it through when she proclaims herself Logan's fiance at the hospital, simply because the sexy-albeit grumpy-football player forgot his cell phone at a party and security won't let her pass. It's not her fault it was overheard by the worst possible person.

A bargain is struck, and a fake marriage is the perfect solution. But the simple solution creates a whole new problem: they're not as different as they seem. The reluctant groom has fire inside him, and his impetuous bride is about to light the match.

Contains mature themes.

Karla Sorensen

Karla Sorensen has been an avid reader her entire life, preferring stories with a happily-ever-after over just about any other kind. It doesn't take much to keep her happy...a book, a really big glass of wine, and at least thirty minutes of complete silence every day. She still keeps her toes in the world of health-care marketing, where she made her living pre-babies. Now she stays home, writing and mommy-ing full time. She currently resides with her husband and their two sons in Michigan.

Good strong characters, great updates on the Pearson’s, and creative plot. Football angle is well represented. But it drags a little and then the feel good parts are rushed. I did audiobook version, it a good travel listen.

Karla Sorenson always creates fun, loving stories. I loved Paige and Logan together, especially with the dynamic that they find themselves in. Logan intrigued me from seeing him in book 2, I always wanted him to find his HEA and when you get to know his situation it makes him so much more swoon-worthy.

Logan doesn't stand a chance when it comes to Paige's advances. She is not a woman to be messed with but Logan doesn't see himself falling for the woman he cannot see a relationship with. How wrong he was. So wrong. I absolutely adored when Paige fought for what was hers and stood up for the girls. She said she would do it but actions always speak louder than words and at that moment you could tell how much it meant to the girls.

I'm sad the series has come to an end but I will definitely be reading other books by Karla.

It moved fairly quickly and it had a good story line. There could have been a bit more in the character development department but overall I enjoyed this book
