He studies the archaeology of Mesoamerica and the Northwest Coast of Canada and is the author of Colonization, Warfare, and Exchange at the Postclassic Maya Site of Canajasté, Chiapas, Mexico (2010) and the editor of Pacific Latin America in Prehistory (1999).

      A brilliant reminder of what it feels like to be young & in love! Michael Blake is a true American author, & if you haven't read any of his books, stop cheating yourself! This is the perfect place to dive in & experience a fine piece of American culture! I took away one star because as much as I love George G., I feel that a younger narrator would have set the scene better, considering that the two main characters were 15 & 18 years old.
