About this audiobook
Two besties and a baby make for an instafamily and a surprising romance in a delightful series by Melissa Foster, the New York Times bestselling author of the Sugar Lake novels.
Ben Dalton has always been honest, except where his heart is concerned. He’s been in love with his best friend—saucy, smart-mouthed Aurelia Stark—forever. But Ben’s a planner, and timing has never been on his side. When he finally decides to make his move, Aurelia beats him to the punch with a move of her own—to a different town.
Aurelia loves her new life in the charming town of Harmony Pointe. She has a great apartment and her very own bookstore, and best of all, the sinfully hot, commitment-phobic friend she’s crushed on for years is no longer just around the corner. Maybe she’ll finally be able to leave her unrequited love behind and move on.
But when a baby is left on Ben’s front porch—a baby that is presumably his—Aurelia is there for him. Neither one knows the first thing about babies, but how hard can it be? Ben and Aurelia are catapulted into a world of love, laughter, and tracking down the baby mama, and it might even add up to a very happily ever after… just not one either of them expects.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Such a strange relationship also too much of a fantasy for me also the pronunciation is problematic why "thing" sounds like "sing" th=s?
Ben lives in a mansion but does not have a camera above the door? - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed this story. I have to say I didn’t fall in love with it like I did the sweet water series with the sisters but I still enjoyed it. Ben and Aurelia made a super cute couple and having to navigate being thrown a baby was amusing to see. I honestly just didn’t really connect with these 2 characters and I can’t pinpoint why. The book got really good for me when the mother of Bea appeared. I was worried how the author was going to handle that but it was beautiful and heartfelt.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I absolutely loved this book. I listened to it with the audio narration. Which I would say was a really enjoyable way to experience this book. This is because my husband was forced to listen to it as well. Well only for a little while as he got into the story as well. We would find ourselves laughing together. The sexual tension between Aurelia and Ben was hot. I like Ben's family have to agree that when these two finally gave into these feelings and became a couple that I said, "it is about time". They both knew that they wanted each other but they kept skating around each other and dropping innuendos. Aurelia is correct that a handsome man going gaga for a baby is a turn on. Baby Bea won my heart. The good-natured ribbing that Ben's sisters gave him had me laughing the whole time. I can't wait to read the other books in this series. In fact, I already downloaded book two. If you love best friend romances with humor, you need to pick up a copy of Call Her Mine.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5What would you do if you were in love with your best friend? Ben and Aurelia are absolutely adorable together. When Ben finds himself suddenly a dad, Aurelia is of course right there to help out, as any best friend would be. After years of being too afraid to take the plunge and admit how they felt for each other, Ben's new baby might be just what they need. Bonding over caring for this new addition is just what they needed to push them over into a new, closer relationship.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Call Her Mine by Melissa FosterLove in Bloom – Harmony Pointe #1Aurelia and Ben have been friends forever but timing has never been right for them to be more than friends. They are both just about ready to declare their feelings when a baby in a basket is left on Ben’s doorstep. Aurelia is there for Ben as he navigates learning to be a father...and as she learns to be a mother and partner to Ben. She is busy starting her new shop but takes time for the baby that she is growing to love. Baby Bea is a delight but not easy and not knowing who the mother is, where she is and if she might return is a bit stressful. When she is finally found it is a mixed blessing although everyone believes Bea Jane Dalton is a gift beyond compare. This author has created a series that has many branches and this is the first in a new offshoot that will no doubt continue to have previous characters come to visit and participate in whatever couple gets their story told. It is not necessary to have read previous books but this book might make you curious about who some of the other characters are and how they met their partners. Did I enjoy this book? YesWould I like to read more in this series? YesThank you to NetGalley, Montlake Romance and the author for the ARC – This is my honest review. 3-4 Stars
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Aurelia & Ben are friends that won’t admit their feelings for each other because either wants to lose the friendship if the other doesn’t feel the same. They are so blind! All of their friends & family have tried to tell them but they don’t want to step out of their comfort zone. Then the unexpected happens. They discover an abandoned baby on the doorstep, Aurelia steps up to helping out, & the close proximity leads to the chemistry taking over! I enjoyed this story. At the beginning, Ben acted like a typical male struggling with becoming a father but once he accepted it, he was all in. I loved that Bea actually brought Ben & Aurelia together. The families were completely supportive. Ben’s parents & Aurelia’s grandmother added so much to the story. They were the voices of reason. I laughed at Piper always wanting to go yell at or let someone have it. She’s so feisty & sure she’s right! If you want don’t mind a hero with faults, some cursing & lots of hot sexy action, you don’t want to miss this book!
